I suppose a year is a bit way too long to have no blog posts. I have missed my blog so much and I’m happy to be making a come back with a post of a sweet baby boy. If those blue eyes don’t melt you I don’t know what will! It was hard to pick just a few for posting. I had so much fun with his session. He has the sweetest expressions and I’m a sucker for close-ups! I could’ve put all close-ups of just his face!

What a sweetheart she is! I wanted to show her whole gallery, but I had to narrow it down to just these! She was such a little trooper for her photo session and endured me changing her around, putting hats on, wrapping her up, getting her naked…etc. She barely cried and she smiled sooooo much during my time there. I have never had a newborn smile hardly once, but she smiled like 10 times or more! I just melted everytime. I think she is just going to grow up being a VERY happy person and she knows how loved she is by everyone so she has every reason to be such a happy baby! Here’s her little sneak peek…ENJOY the sweetness! She sure did tug at my  heart strings and even just going through her session images my heart got tugged on again…

See….isn’t she the sweetest, most beautiful baby girl!?! How could you just not melt a WHOLE lot looking at her! Aaahhhh….I LOVE my job!!!!

 

 

I don’t even know where to start with words for this session! I wish I could put up a bigger preview of this sweetie pie’s session, but I’m limiting myself to just these! I have sooooo sooooo many fav’s and it was so hard to narrow it down. This little girl just made me smile…ALOT! When I arrived at their home to do the session and I was exploring the fun places to shoot I just fell in love and one of the first things I said was, “I need to move here!” I could’ve stayed all day and just kept taking pictures. It was such a beautiful location with such a fun, adorable 2 yr. old girl. We just let her explore, play and just be 2! Aaaahhhhh! Can I say how much I just adored this session! This is something I could NEVER tire of and this is one of the main reasons I got into photography was for sessions like this! I can’t explain the passion I have for this type of work…but it’s there…ever burning!  If these images don’t make you smile today then you need a checkup for your heart!!! *wink*

Miss C…you were wonderful for your session. I really enjoyed meeting you and your mommy & daddy and capturing your 2 yr. old moments. Here are some of Miss “K’s” images from her 6 mth. session. I had to add one of her & her daddy since it is Father’s Day weekend! So…Happy Father’s day to Miss K’s daddy and to all of the other daddy’s out there!!! She was such a quiet little girl for her session…and so serious too, she had me laughing. I had a great time with her!

It’s so bittersweet! Another BabyPlanner turns 1 yr. old! I can’t believe how quickly his first year has gone by and how he went from no curls at 9 mths. to a headfull at 12 mths! Amazing!! This little boy is just so sweet and so much fun to photograph! His mommy is always full of ideas for him and I love that. She has become such a great friend, another reason why I love my job so much…meeting new people = making new friends! It’s a blessing to me to have such awesome people around me! You all are what makes my job soooo worth it! Thank you to “J’s” mommy & daddy for letting me watch J grow from a tiny little babe to a very happy, healthy, active 1 yr. old. Happy Birthday sweetie! It has been such a joy to watch you over the past year. I can’t wait to watch you grow even more!  Here’s a small collage of some of his 1 yr. pictures.

This was from several months ago, but finally decided to share it. I can’t tell you the joy it brings me to be able to be ask to be a part of this very special day in someone’s life. It is so incredibly awesome to be able to capture the first moments of a baby being born, taking his/her first breath, watching mom & dad discover their precious gift for the first time, seeing the instant bonding and love that just flows from seeing their baby and holding them in their arms. It is an honor to me to be ask to do this and I can’t express enough how much I love giving this special gift of memories to them.

Birth Story

I haven’t had a maternity session in quite some time so this was fun for me and to be able to include the expecting big sister in on the pictures was so great for me! She was such a sweetheart and cooperated really well. This is such a sweet, fun family. I am really looking forward to meeting their new baby girl. Thank you so much for having me come and capture this time in your life!

I just don’t know that words can describe the absolute love that I have for my  job!!! I’m sitting here proofing this session and I kept just giggling outloud because this baby girl is just soooo cute! My daughter was sitting her with me oooohing and aaaaahing over what a sweet face she has and how cute her smile is. All I could say over and over again was, “Oh my…I just love her, she’s so cute!” hahahaha I’m so glad my daughter was sitting here with me so I was at least talking to someone and not my computer screen! Though I have been known to do that from time to time.

Sitting here proofing in the wee hours of the night and basking in the quietness knowing I get  to work with such wonderful people just makes me ponder why I love my job so much! You may remember Miss “F”s newborn session because we did a similar picture in her room, only she was laying on the shelves then. It’s going to be fun to watch her grow and take pictures in her room every few months. I had a hard time narrowing her sneak peek down and I wanted to post so many more, but had to save some for surprise!!! Thank you to her mommy & daddy for being such awesome people. I’m so glad that my clients become my friends! It sure makes for alot of happiness and joy in my life!

Even though this sweet girl has already had her gallery posted I just can’t help but put a preview of her session here on the blog. She deserves a big preview because there are just way too many that I love and you just have to see her cuteness!!!! I could’ve just played w/ her all day!

Oh my….isn’t she just the cutest!!! She is sooooo incredibly loved by her mommy & daddy. I just love watching them together. You can see the depths of love they have for her in their eyes. Such a sweet family!

God could not have given this sweet baby girl to a more wonderful family. Little Baby “L” has 2 beautiful big sisters who already love her sooo much! Mom & Dad are so blessed to have such beautiful girls. Baby “L” did so wonderful for her pictures. I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to capture her sweetness at this young age. I loooove newborn sessions and I can’t think of anything I love more than capturing all their tiny features.
