I had a total of 22 boxes donated! Thanks to all of you who participated. It meant alot to me and it will mean even more to the children who receive those boxes.
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoys spending time with their families. I can’t believe it’s this time of year again already. I am looking forward to making many more memories with my children this year and excited for what the next year has in store for us.
I haven’t posted a pic in awhile so here’s one to start of the Christmas season for you. Our sweet dog Finnigan…I can’t help myself…he’s just too cute! Be watching for a new pet gallery on my website this next year!

I have wanted to get this up on my  blog for over a month now and I keep putting it off for another day, well, now there is not even 2 weeks time left but I’m going to put it up here for you anyway.
My church is involved in this program this year and after going to South Africa in April of this past year and seeing 1st hand what it is to give a child just even one single Crayola crayon and the joy the get on their faces to receive that one crayon can change your life!
My whole family is getting involved in packing a shoe box this year and my kids are really enjoying putting the presents into the shoeboxes. We can’t wait to send them off and pray for the child that will be receiving their box.
Here is what I want to do…I need shoeboxes by (no later than) Nov. 15th. I have to take them to my church by Nov. 16th. Even if you brought them to me that afternoon I can take them in with me Sunday evening. I just have to have all boxes ready to take with me when I walk out the door Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. I know this is really late notice but I’m hoping to be able to get shoeboxes out to all the children we can!!
I am going to post all the information you need on how to fill the shoeboxes and what items you can and can’t include here on the blog. If you don’t have a shoebox bring it in a bag and I’ll get a shoebox at church to put it in. I won’t mind doing it that way if I need to. I have such a heart for this mission that I’ll take the gifts and box them all up myself if I have to.
What will you receive by doing this for me? I believe in this mission so much and it is so dear to me that I will in turn give a $50 gift certificate for each box you bring to me to be used toward a session fee or portraits good for use Jan.-Dec. 2009. *This gift certificate excludes Baby Planner sessions & Senior Portraits.
All gift certificates will be mailed to you the first week of December. Use the gift certificate for yourself or give it as a gift to someone!!!
You can pass this along to family and friends and get them involved. Pack a box together! Make a difference in a child’s life this Christmas!

Here is the information on how to pack the shoebox. PLEASE read all the way to the bottom of the page. It is very important to read all the instructions. How to Pack your Shoebox There is a label to print out at the bottom. It is extremely important to have this label marked and taped on to one of the ends of the box.
Also…if you want to pack a doll, car, barbie, etc, anything in a package, please feel free to remove it from the package to make more room in the box. You’d be surprised how many items you can fit into a box!!!

Not only does each child receive a box filled with gifts but they will also receive the love of God through that box. The gifts are important, but if one child comes to know Jesus through that gift that is so much more important than anything!
